Angel Raqib and Atid in the Quran

The names Raqib and Atid are not mentioned specifically in the Quran as names of angels. However, there are verses in the Quran that mention the concept of "Raqib and Atid" as a way of describing the angels that record our actions and deeds.

In Surah Al-Infitar, verses 10-12, it is mentioned:

"But verily, over you (are appointed angels in charge of mankind) to watch you,

Honorable recorders,

They know all that you do."

These angels are described as Raqib and Atid in Islamic tradition, although their names are not specifically mentioned in the Quran. Raqib is believed to be the angel that records our good deeds, while Atid records our bad deeds.

In Surah Qaf, verse 18, it is also mentioned:

"And We have already created man and know what his soul whispers to him, and We are closer to him than [his] jugular vein."

This verse highlights the idea that Allah is aware of everything that we do, including our thoughts and intentions, and that there are angels assigned to record our actions and present them to Allah on the Day of Judgment.
