012 Khadija & Waraqah Ibn Nawfal about his revelation

When the Prophet Muhammad received the first revelation from the Angel Gabriel, he was frightened and unsure of what was happening to him. He went home to his wife Khadija and told her what had happened in the cave of Hira. Khadija was a wise and supportive woman, and she listened to her husband carefully.

After hearing Muhammad's story, Khadija believed that he had been chosen by God to be a prophet. She comforted him and reassured him that he had nothing to fear, and that God had a special plan for him.

Khadija then took Muhammad to her cousin, a man named Waraqah bin Nawfal who was a Christian scholar. Waraqah confirmed that Muhammad had indeed received a message from God and that he was a prophet like the ones who had come before him, such as Moses and Jesus.

Khadija's love and support for her husband were very important in the early days of Islam. She was the first person to believe in Muhammad's message and stood by him through difficult times. Her faith in Muhammad gave him the courage and strength to continue spreading the message of Islam, even when faced with opposition and persecution.

So, in summary, when Muhammad shared the news of his first revelation with Khadija, she believed in him and comforted him, and took him to a Christian scholar who confirmed that he had been chosen by God to be a prophet. Khadija's support was very important for Muhammad and helped him to continue his mission to spread the message of Islam.

Waraqah Ibn Nawfal:

Waraqah Ibn Nawfal was a Christian scholar who was also the cousin of Khadija, the wife of Prophet Muhammad. When Muhammad received the first revelation from the Angel Gabriel, Khadija took him to her cousin Waraqah to tell him what had happened.

Waraqah was very knowledgeable about the scriptures of the Jews and Christians and was able to confirm that Muhammad's experience was similar to what had happened to other prophets in the past, such as Moses and Jesus. He believed that the Angel Gabriel had appeared to Muhammad and that he had been chosen by God to be a prophet.

Waraqah also predicted that Muhammad would face opposition and persecution from his own people because they would not accept his message. However, he encouraged Muhammad to continue to spread the message of Islam, saying that he would be successful if he was patient and persevered.

Waraqah's confirmation that Muhammad was a prophet like those who had come before him gave Muhammad confidence in his mission to spread the message of Islam. It also helped to legitimize his message among his own people and was an important moment in the early days of Islam.

So, in summary, when Khadija took Muhammad to her cousin Waraqah to tell him about his experience with the Angel Gabriel, Waraqah confirmed that Muhammad was a prophet like those who had come before him and encouraged him to continue to spread the message of Islam. His support and confirmation were important for Muhammad in the early days of Islam.

011 Beginning of Revelation

When Muhammad was 40 years old, something amazing happened to him. While he was in a cave called Hira, an angel named Gabriel appeared to him and told him to read something.

Muhammad was scared and didn't know what to do, but Gabriel told him not to be afraid and to repeat after him. Gabriel then recited some words to Muhammad, which he repeated after him. This was the beginning of what we call the revelation or the message from God.

After this, Muhammad would continue to receive messages from God through Gabriel. He would memorize them and share them with the people of Mecca. These messages were later written down and became the holy book of Islam, called the Quran.

Gabriel said to Muhammad "Iqra" which means "Read" or "Recite". Gabriel then repeated this word twice more, and Muhammad responded each time that he did not know how to read or recite. Then Gabriel recited the first verses of the Quran to him, which are traditionally known as the first five verses of Surah Al-Alaq (chapter 96 of the Quran). These verses read:

"Read in the name of your Lord who created,

Created man from a clot.

Read, and your Lord is the most generous,

Who taught by the pen,

Taught man what he knew not."

These verses were the first revelation that Muhammad received and marked the beginning of his mission as a prophet of Islam.

At first, many people in Mecca didn't believe Muhammad's message. They thought he was crazy or trying to trick them. But some people believed him, and they became the first Muslims. These early Muslims were persecuted and sometimes even killed for their beliefs.

Despite the difficulties, Muhammad continued to spread the message of Islam and eventually gained many followers. He became a respected leader and prophet, and Islam grew into a major religion with millions of followers around the world.

So, that's the story of the beginning of revelation to Muhammad. It all started with an angel visiting him in a cave and telling him to read. From there, he received messages from God and shared them with the world, eventually founding the religion of Islam.

010a Placing of the Black Stone in the Kaaba

When Prophet Muhammad was in his 20's, he used to visit the Kaaba in Mecca with his family. The Kaaba is a special building that Muslims believe was built by the Prophet Ibrahim and his son Ismail as a house of worship for God.

One day, when the Kaaba was being renovated, the people of Mecca were trying to figure out how to move a special stone called the Black Stone back into its place in the Kaaba. The Black Stone was a very important part of the Kaaba, and the people were worried about how to move it without damaging it.

Prophet Muhammad was known for his wisdom and good judgement, even at a young age. So, when the people of Mecca were struggling with moving the Black Stone, they asked for his advice.

Prophet Muhammad suggested that they use a cloth and let the leaders of each of the clans hold on to it and lift the Black Stone together. This way, everyone could take part in moving the stone, and there would be no arguments or fighting over who got to do it.

The people of Mecca were very impressed with Prophet Muhammad's idea, and they followed his advice. They were able to move the Black Stone back into its place in the Kaaba without any trouble.

This story teaches us that even young people like Prophet Muhammad can have wisdom and good ideas. It also shows that working together and finding a solution that includes everyone is important, especially when dealing with important and sacred things like the Black Stone and the Kaaba.

010 Renovation of Kaaba

The Kaaba is a very important religious building in Islam, located in the city of Mecca. It was originally built by the Prophet Ibrahim and his son Ismail, many centuries before Prophet Muhammad was born.

During Prophet Muhammad's time, the Kaaba was in need of repairs and renovations. So, the leaders of Mecca decided to rebuild the Kaaba and make it stronger and more beautiful than ever before.

Prophet Muhammad was very excited about the renovation of the Kaaba, and he even helped with some of the work himself. He carried stones and helped to lay them in place, alongside the other workers.

After many months of hard work, the Kaaba was finally rebuilt and looked better than ever before! Prophet Muhammad and the people of Mecca were very happy and proud of their newly renovated Kaaba.

This story teaches us that it's important to take care of important religious buildings and places, just like the people of Mecca did with the Kaaba. When we take care of these special places, it shows respect and love for our faith and history.

He also played a big role in placing of the Black Stone in the Kaaba.

009 Muhammad as a Businessman & a Marriage Proposal

Muhammad The Businessman

Did you know that before he became a prophet, Prophet Muhammad used to work as a businessman? He was very honest and trustworthy, and people knew that they could count on him to always do the right thing.

One time, a wealthy woman named Khadija asked Prophet Muhammad to take some of her merchandise on a business trip. She knew that he was a good businessman and that she could trust him to do a good job. So, he went on the trip and was able to sell all of the merchandise for a good price.

Khadija was so impressed with Prophet Muhammad's honesty and hard work that she asked him to manage all of her business affairs from then on. They worked together for many years and became very close friends.

This story teaches us that it's important to be honest and hardworking in whatever we do, whether it's in business or in our personal lives. If we do our best and treat others with respect, we can build strong and lasting relationships.

A Marriage Proposal

When Prophet Muhammad was 25 years old, and had been doing business for Khadija. Her name was Khadija bint Khuwaylid. Prophet Muhammad found her beautiful and very intelligent. They got to know each other well and became good friends.

One day, Prophet Muhammad realized that he had feelings for Khadija that were more than just friendship. He thought that she was kind, smart, and beautiful, and he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her.

So, Prophet Muhammad went to talk to Khadija and told her how he felt. He asked her to marry him, and Khadija said yes! She was very happy and excited to marry Prophet Muhammad because she respected him and admired his good qualities.

Their marriage was very happy and loving, and they stayed together for many years. Khadija was a strong and supportive partner to Prophet Muhammad, and he loved and respected her deeply.

This story teaches us that love and respect are important in any relationship, whether it's between friends or partners. When we care about someone and want to spend our lives with them, it's important to be honest and open about our feelings, just like Prophet Muhammad was with Khadija.
