027 Arrival in Madinah, and Camel choosing the place for the Mosque

There is a story in Islamic tradition about how the location of the Prophet Muhammad's mosque in Medina was chosen. According to the story, when Prophet Muhammad and his followers arrived in Medina, they were looking for a place to build a mosque. They needed a place where they could gather to pray and worship together.

While Prophet let his Camel decide where to stop, people saw that that camel wandering around, and it suddenly stopped in a particular spot. The people who were with the camel tried to get it to move, but it refused to budge from that spot.

Prophet Muhammad and his followers saw this as a sign from Allah that this was the spot where they should build their mosque. They began building the mosque, and it became known as the Prophet's Mosque.

This story shows how important signs and symbols are in Islamic tradition, and how Allah guides people to make important decisions. It also shows how the mosque is a central part of Islamic worship and community life. The Prophet's Mosque in Medina is still an important place of pilgrimage and worship for Muslims today.

025 The Hijrah journey with Abu Bakr

As Muhammad (pbuh) was preaching Islam, many people in his hometown did not believe him and even wanted to harm him. So, one night, he and his best friend Abu Bakr decided to leave their home and go to a safer place called Madinah. It's called the Hijra, which was the journey that Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and his close friend Abu Bakr (RA) took from Mecca to Medina in the year 622 CE.

They traveled through the desert and had to hide in a cave to avoid being caught by their enemies. While they were in the cave, Abu Bakr was worried that the bad people would find them, but Muhammad (pbuh) told him to have faith in God and everything would be okay.

As they were traveling, some of the people who didn't like Prophet Muhammad found out where they were and started chasing them. To avoid being caught, Prophet Muhammad and Abu Bakr took refuge in a cave called Thawr.

They stayed in the cave for three days and three nights, waiting for their pursuers to give up and leave. While they were in the cave, they prayed and talked to each other to keep their spirits up.

At one point, their pursuers came very close to the cave, and Prophet Muhammad and Abu Bakr were very scared. But then, something amazing happened. A spider spun a web across the entrance of the cave, and a bird built a nest at the entrance, which made their pursuers think that no one could be inside the cave.

Finally, after three days, their pursuers gave up and left, and Prophet Muhammad and Abu Bakr were able to continue their journey to Medina. This event is seen as a miracle by Muslims, and it shows that God protected Prophet Muhammad and his friend during their difficult journey.

When Prophet Muhammad was leaving Mecca to escape his enemies, he and his friend Abu Bakr had to travel through the desert, after they came out of the cave. Along the way, they met two men who asked them where they were going. Prophet Muhammad told them that they were going to Medina.

The two men realized that Prophet Muhammad and Abu Bakr were being pursued by their enemies, so they decided to help them. They offered to lend them their camels and to show them a safe route to Medina.

After a few days, they arrived in Madinah and were welcomed by the people there. This journey from their home in Mecca to Madinah is called the Hijrah. It was a very important event in the history of Islam because it marked the beginning of a new era for the Muslim community.

Abu Bakr was a very loyal friend to Muhammad, and he helped him a lot during this difficult time. He later became the first caliph or leader of the Muslim community after Muhammad passed away.

026 Emigration to Madinah (Hijrah)

The Emigration to Madinah, also known as the Hijrah, was a very important event in Islamic history. It happened a long time ago, in the year 622 AD. At that time, Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was living in the city of Mecca in Arabia, and he had many followers who believed in his message about worshipping only one God.

However, the people of Mecca didn't like this message, and they started to give a lot of trouble to the Prophet and his followers. They were mean to them, and sometimes they even hurt them. So, Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his followers were not safe in Mecca anymore.

That's why they decided to leave Mecca and go to a city called Yathrib, which later became known as Madinah. They left secretly, at night, so that no one would know that they were leaving. They traveled for many days, and it was a difficult journey because they had to cross a hot and dry desert.

When they arrived in Madinah, the people there welcomed them with open arms. They were happy to have the Prophet and his followers with them, and they promised to help and protect them. The Prophet was very grateful to the people of Madinah, and he worked hard to help them and make their city a better place.

The Emigration to Madinah was very important because it was a turning point for Islam. It was a time when the Prophet and his followers were able to practice their religion in peace and safety. It was also a time when the Islamic community grew stronger and more organized, because the Prophet was able to teach his followers more about their religion and how to live together in a community.

So, in summary, the Emigration to Madinah was a very important event in Islamic history because it allowed the Prophet and his followers to escape persecution in Mecca and establish a safe and strong community in Madinah.

024 Attempt to Murder

Before the Prophet migrated from Mecca to Madinah, he and his followers were facing a lot of difficulties in Mecca. The people of Mecca did not like the message of Islam that the Prophet was spreading, and they did not like the fact that many people were converting to Islam. They felt threatened by the growing number of Muslims and wanted to stop the spread of Islam.

One day, the leaders of Mecca decided to do something very dangerous. They came together and made a plan to kill the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). They thought that if they got rid of the Prophet, then the Muslims would lose their leader and they would be able to stop the spread of Islam.

So, they sent a group of men to the Prophet's house at night to try and kill him. However, Allah protected the Prophet and warned him of the danger. The Prophet quickly left his house and hid in a cave with his closest friend, Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him).

The men who had come to kill the Prophet searched for him all over Mecca, but they did not find him. They eventually gave up and went back to the leaders of Mecca, who were very angry and disappointed that their plan had failed.

After this incident, the Prophet and his friend Abu Bakr decided to leave Mecca and go to Madinah, where they could practice Islam in peace and safety. This journey is called the Hijrah and it was a very important event in Islamic history.

So, in summary, the leaders of Mecca made a plan to kill the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) because they did not like the message of Islam that he was spreading. However, Allah protected the Prophet and warned him of the danger, and he was able to escape to Madinah where he could continue spreading the message of Islam.

023 Night Journey & Ascension to Heavens (Isra and Miraj)

The Night Journey and Ascension to Heavens is a significant event in the life of the Prophet Muhammad in which he journeyed from Mecca to Jerusalem and then ascended to the heavens to meet with God.

The Isra and Miraj is a story from Islamic tradition about a miraculous journey that Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) took one night. According to the story, the journey was so special that it was even guided by an angel named Jibril.

The journey was split into two parts. In the first part, the Prophet Muhammad was sleeping near the Kaaba when the angel Gabriel appeared to him and woke him up. Gabriel then took the Prophet Muhammad by the hand and flew him to the city of Jerusalem on a winged horse named Buraq.

Once in Jerusalem, the Prophet Muhammad went to the Al-Aqsa Mosque and led the other prophets in prayer. He met with some of the Prophets there who had come before him, including Prophet Musa (Moses) and Prophet Isa (Jesus) (peace be upon them).

In the second part of the journey, Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) ascended to the heavens. It's like when you climb a ladder or a tall tree - you are ascending, or going up, to a higher place. In the same way, Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) ascended to the heavens, going higher and higher until he reached the highest point. As he went from one heaven to the next, he met with more Prophets who had come before him.

  • In the first heaven, he met with Prophet Adam (peace be upon him), who was the first human created by Allah.
  • In the second heaven, he met with Prophet Isa (Jesus) and Prophet Yahya (John the Baptist) (peace be upon them), who were both important Prophets in Christianity as well.
  • In the third heaven, he met with Prophet Yusuf (Joseph) (peace be upon him), who was known for his story of being thrown into a well by his brothers and then becoming a powerful advisor to the Pharaoh of Egypt.
  • In the fourth heaven, he met with Prophet Idris (Enoch) (peace be upon him), who was known for his wisdom and good deeds.
  • In the fifth heaven, he met with Prophet Harun (Aaron) (peace be upon him), who was the brother of Prophet Musa (Moses) and a Prophet in his own right.
  • In the sixth heaven, he met with Prophet Musa (Moses) (peace be upon him) himself, who was a very important Prophet in Judaism.
  • Finally, in the seventh heaven, he met with Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) (peace be upon him), who was known for his strong faith in Allah and his willingness to sacrifice his son for Allah's sake.

So, in summary, during the Isra and Miraj, Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) traveled from Mecca to Jerusalem and then ascended to the heavens, where he met with many of the Prophets who had come before him. It was a very special journey that showed him many amazing things and helped him to strengthen his faith in Allah.

The Night Journey and Ascension to Heavens is an important event in Islamic history because it represents the deep connection between the Prophet Muhammad and God, as well as the spiritual journey that all Muslims strive towards. It also highlights the importance of prayer and the divine guidance that Allah provides to believers.
