The term "Hafaza" is not explicitly mentioned in the Quran as an angelic entity. However, the concept of "guardian angels" or "protectors" is present in Islamic belief and has been referenced in various hadiths (sayings of Prophet Muhammad) and Islamic literature. Hafaza are the guardian angels who protect and accompany every person throughout their life.
In Islamic tradition, it is believed that every human being has two guardian angels, one to record their good deeds and the other to record their bad deeds. These angels are often referred to as "Kiraman Katibin" (honorable recorders) and are believed to accompany every person throughout their life.
Additionally, it is believed that angels play a role in protecting and guarding individuals, especially during times of hardship and danger. The Quran mentions the concept of "mala'ikah" (angels) being sent by Allah to protect believers in various situations:
In Surah An-Nahl, verse 97, Allah says: "Whoever does righteousness, whether male or female, while he is a believer - We will surely cause him to live a good life, and We will surely give them their reward [in the Hereafter] according to the best of what they used to do." This verse is interpreted by some scholars to mean that Allah sends angels to protect and guide those who do good deeds.
In Surah Al-Anfal, verse 9, Allah says: "And when you, [O Muhammad], were among them and recited the verses of Allah, they did not prostrate [to Allah] with those who prostrated. But We have sent down to you a clear light by which Allah guides whomever He wills to His straight path and guides them to a path of peace." Some scholars interpret this verse to mean that Allah sends angels to protect and guide the believers who follow the guidance of Prophet Muhammad.
While the term "Hafaza" may not be mentioned in the Quran, the concept of guardian angels and angelic protection is present in Islamic belief and is supported by various verses and hadiths.
