Angel Ridwan is mentioned in the Quran in Surah al-Fath, verse 5, where it is stated that Allah has sent down tranquility upon the believers and has sent angels to support them, and among those angels is Ridwan. However, the Quran does not provide any further details about this angel. In Islamic tradition, it is believed that Ridwan is the name of the angel who guards the gate of Jannah (Paradise) and welcomes the believers who enter it.
There is one verse in the Quran that mentions Angel Ridwan:
"Those who believed and did righteous deeds - We will surely assign to them Paradise [elevated] chambers beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally. Excellent is the reward of the [righteous] workers who have patience and are true to their word. And how many a prophet [fought and] with him fought many religious scholars. But they never lost assurance due to what afflicted them in the cause of Allah, nor did they weaken or submit. And Allah loves the steadfast. And their words were not but that they said, "Our Lord, forgive us our sins and the excess [committed] in our affairs and plant firmly our feet and give us victory over the disbelieving people." So Allah gave them the reward of this world and the good reward of the Hereafter. And Allah loves the doers of good." [Quran 3: 195-197]
Although Angel Ridwan is not explicitly mentioned in this verse, according to some interpretations, he is the keeper of Paradise and is responsible for granting entry to those who have been deemed worthy by Allah. The mention of "elevated chambers" and "rivers flowing beneath them" in this verse could be referring to the Paradise that Angel Ridwan guards.
