"Then he inspected the birds and said, “Why do I not see the hoopoe? Or is it that he is absent? 21 I will punish him severely or slaughter him unless he gives me a valid reason.” 22 However, the hoopoe did not stay away for long, and said, “I have learnt something you did not know. I have come to you from Sheba with reliable news. 23 I found a woman ruling over them, who has been given everything, including a splendid throne. 24 I found her and her people prostrating before the sun instead of Allah, for Satan has made their deeds seem attractive to them, and prevented them from the right path, so they are not guided 25 to worship Allah, who brings to light what is hidden in the heavens and the earth, and knows what you conceal and what you reveal. 26 Allah: there is no god but He, the Lord of the Sublime Throne.” 27 Sulaiman said, “We shall soon see whether you have told the truth or have lied. 28 Go with this letter of mine and deliver it to them, then withdraw from them and see how they respond.”"
