The mention of Paradise as a place where believers will be granted shade and coolness on the Day of Judgment - in the Quran

The Quran mentions several verses that describe Paradise as a place of shade and coolness for the believers. The believers who do righteous deeds will be granted eternal life in Paradise, which will be a place of security, gardens, springs, beautiful clothing, and beautiful companions. They will be protected from the punishment of Hellfire and will abide there eternally, enjoying all the pleasures and comforts that Paradise has to offer. Meanwhile, the disbelievers will be punished in the Fire. These descriptions emphasize the great rewards that the believers will receive for their faith and righteous deeds, and the importance of obeying Allah's commands and seeking His pleasure in this life. There are several verses in the Quran that mention Paradise as a place where believers will be granted shade and coolness on the Day of Judgment. Here are a few examples:

"And [there will be] shade thereof [i.e., of Paradise] and fruit, such as they desire. [And they will be told], "Eat and drink in satisfaction for what you used to do." (Quran 69:24-25)

"Indeed, the righteous will be among shades and springs, and fruits from whatever they desire. [They will be told], "Eat and drink in satisfaction for what you used to do." (Quran 77:41-43)

"Verily, those who believe and do righteous good deeds, for them will be Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise). That is the great success. To dwell therein you have to purify yourselves (through obedience to Allah). And the Day when the Hour will be established (it will be said to the angels): "Cause Pharaoh's people to enter the severest punishment!" And on that Day, those who disbelieve will be exposed to the Fire (it will be said to them): "You received your good things in the life of the world, and you took your pleasure therein. Now this Day you shall be recompensed with a humiliating torment because you were arrogant in the land without a right, and because you used to rebel against Allah's Command (disobey Allah)." But Allah will deliver those who fear Him (from evil) to their places of salvation. No evil shall touch them, nor shall they grieve. Allah is the Protector of those who believe. He brings them out from darkness into light. But as for those who disbelieve, their patrons are false deities; they bring them out from light into darkness. Those are the dwellers of the Fire, and they will abide therein forever." (Quran, 20: 75-76)

"And give glad tidings to those who believe and do righteous good deeds, that for them will be Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise). Every time they will be provided with a fruit therefrom, they will say: "This is what we were provided with before," and they will be given things in resemblance (i.e. in the same form but different in taste) and they shall have therein Azwajun Mutahharatun (purified mates or wives), and they will abide therein forever." (Quran, 2: 25)

"And those who believe and do righteous good deeds, they are dwellers of Paradise, they will dwell therein forever. It is not for you (O Muhammad) to cause their repentance to grow. Allah knows what they keep in their hearts (secretly). But if they turn away, say (to them): "Allah is sufficient for me. There is no god but He, in Him I put my trust and He is the Lord of the Mighty Throne." (Quran, 9: 111-112)

In these verses, Allah promises believers who do righteous deeds that they will be granted eternal life in Paradise, which will be a place of shade and coolness, and they will be provided with everything they desire. Meanwhile, the disbelievers will be punished in the Fire.

"Indeed, the righteous will be in a secure place; within gardens and springs, wearing [garments of] fine silk and brocade, facing each other. Thus it will be. And We will marry them to fair women with large, [beautiful] eyes. They will call therein for every [kind of] fruit - safe and secure. They will not taste death therein except the first death, and He will have protected them from the punishment of Hellfire as bounty from your Lord. That is what is the great attainment." (Quran, 44:51-57)

"Those will be awarded the Chamber for what they patiently endured, and they will be received therein with greetings and [words of] peace. Abiding eternally therein. Good is the settlement and residence." (Quran, 25:75-76)

"Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds - they will have the Gardens of Paradise as a lodging, wherein they abide eternally. They will not desire from it any transfer." (Quran, 18:107-108)

In these verses, Allah describes Paradise as a place of security, gardens, springs, beautiful clothing, and beautiful companions. The believers will abide there eternally and will be protected from the punishment of Hellfire. These descriptions emphasize the pleasure and comfort that the believers will enjoy in Paradise, including shade and coolness.
