The mention of Paradise as a place where there is no sadness or sorrow - in the Quran

The Quran highlight the importance of good deeds, striving towards forgiveness from Allah, and believing in Him and His Messengers as means to attain success in the Hereafter and being among the dwellers of Paradise. The concept of Paradise is emphasized as a reward for those who believe in Allah and do righteous deeds, and as a place where there is no sadness or sorrow. The Quran also emphasize the need to race towards forgiveness from Allah and towards Paradise, which is a vast and spacious place prepared for believers. The Quran mentions Paradise as a place where there is no sadness, sorrow or any negative emotions. In fact, the believers in Paradise will only experience happiness, joy, and contentment.

In Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 25, Allah says, "And give glad tidings to those who believe and do righteous good deeds, that for them will be Gardens under which rivers flow. Every time they will be provided with a fruit therefrom, they will say: "This is what we were provided with before," and they will be given things in resemblance (i.e., in the same form but different in taste) and they shall have therein Azwajun Mutahharatun (purified mates or wives), and they will abide therein forever." This verse emphasizes that believers in Paradise will be given pure and beautiful companions, and they will remain in Paradise forever, without any worries or negative emotions.

Additionally, in Surah Al-Hijr, verse 47, Allah says, "And We shall remove from their breasts any (mutual) hatred or sense of injury (which they may have), so they will be like brothers facing each other on thrones (of dignity)." This verse emphasizes that in Paradise, all negative emotions such as hatred, jealousy, or anger will be removed from the hearts of believers, and they will live together as brothers and sisters, with mutual love and respect.

In Surah Yunus, verse 64, Allah describes Paradise as a place of "peace and security". The verse states, "For them are glad tidings in the life of the present world and in the Hereafter. No change can there be in the words of Allah. This is indeed the supreme felicity."

This verse emphasizes that Paradise is a source of glad tidings, and that it provides believers with peace and security in this life and the Hereafter. This concept is also mentioned in Surah Al-Hijr, verse 48, where Allah says, "And the dwellers of Paradise will call out to the dwellers of the Fire (saying): "We have indeed found true what our Lord had promised us; have you also found true, what your Lord promised (warnings, etc.)?" They shall say: "Yes." Then a crier will proclaim between them: "The curse of Allah is on the Zalimun (polytheists and wrongdoers)." This verse emphasizes the stark contrast between the dwellers of Paradise and the dwellers of the Fire, and it highlights the fulfillment of Allah's promises to the believers. The believers will be able to confirm the fulfillment of Allah's promises in Paradise, and this serves as a source of inspiration and motivation for them to strive towards Paradise.

In Surah Al-Anbiya, verse 102, Allah says, "Those whose scales are heavy [with good deeds] - it is they who are the successful." This verse highlights the importance of good deeds in attaining success in the Hereafter and being among the dwellers of Paradise.

Similarly, in Surah Al-Hadid, verse 21, Allah says, "Race one with another in hastening towards forgiveness from your Lord (Allah), and towards Paradise, the width whereof is as the width of heaven and earth, prepared for those who believe in Allah and His Messengers. That is the Grace of Allah which He bestows on whom He pleases. And Allah is the Owner of Great Bounty." This verse emphasizes the need for believers to race towards forgiveness from Allah and towards Paradise, which is a vast and spacious place prepared for those who believe in Allah and His Messengers.

In Surah Al-Insan, verse 11, Allah says, "But those who believe and do righteous deeds - for them are gardens of Paradise as accommodation for what they used to do." This verse emphasizes that Paradise is a reward for those who believe in Allah and do righteous deeds, and it highlights the importance of consistently striving towards good deeds. These verses highlight the importance of striving towards good deeds, seeking forgiveness from Allah, and believing in Him and His Messengers as means to attain Paradise.

Overall, the Quran emphasizes that Paradise is a place of eternal happiness, where believers will be free from all negative emotions and will experience only joy and contentment. This concept serves as a source of comfort and hope for believers, who strive towards Paradise by living a righteous and obedient life in accordance with the teachings of the Quran.
