The companionship and friendship in Paradise - in the Quran

The Quran describe how believers in Paradise will have strong bonds of companionship and friendship with each other. Families will be reunited, and descendants who followed their ancestors in faith will be joined with them. The believers will abide eternally in Paradise, enjoying a peaceful and blissful environment. The greeting of the believers will be "Peace!", emphasizing the friendly nature of their companionship. Here are a few verses from the Quran that describe the companionship and friendship in Paradise:

"And those who believed and whose descendants followed them in faith - We will join with them their descendants, and We will not deprive them of anything of their deeds. Every person, for what he earned, is retained. And We will provide them with fruit and meat from whatever they desire. They will exchange with one another a cup [of wine] wherein [results] no ill speech or commission of sin." (52:21-23) This verse describes how the believers and their descendants who followed them in faith will be joined together in Paradise. It highlights that they will not be deprived of the rewards of their deeds, and they will exchange cups of wine with one another, wherein no ill speech or sin will result.

"And they who believed and did righteous deeds will be in gardens, honored. But they who disbelieved and denied Our verses - those will be brought to punishment. And they will not cease to dispute until, when they come to Us [for judgement], the truth will be made clear to them. So now, if they repent, it is best for them; but if they turn away - then We will inflict upon them a painful punishment." (10:9-11) This verse highlights the reward of the believers who do righteous deeds, that they will be in gardens, honored. It contrasts them with those who disbelieved and denied the verses of Allah, who will be brought to punishment. The verse emphasizes that those who dispute and turn away from the truth will be inflicted with a painful punishment.

"Indeed, the righteous will be in a secure place, within gardens and springs, wearing [garments of] fine silk and brocade, facing each other. Thus it will be. And We will marry them to fair women with large, [beautiful] eyes." (44:51-54) This verse describes how the righteous will be in a secure place in Paradise, within gardens and springs, wearing fine silk and brocade. It also mentions that they will be facing each other, indicating companionship and friendship, and will be married to fair women with large, beautiful eyes.

"And they will say, 'Praise to Allah, who has removed from us [all] sorrow. Indeed, our Lord is Forgiving and Appreciative - He who has settled us in the home of duration [i.e. Paradise] out of His bounty. There touches us not in it any fatigue, and there touches us not in it weariness [of mind]." (35:34-35) This verse describes how the inhabitants of Paradise will praise Allah for removing all sorrow from them. They will be settled in the home of duration, meaning Paradise, out of Allah's bounty. The verse emphasizes that there will be no fatigue or weariness in Paradise, highlighting the blissful and enjoyable nature of the companionship and friendship there.

"And those who believed and whose descendants followed them in faith - We will join with them their descendants, and We will not deprive them of anything of their deeds. Every person, for what he earned, is retained." (52:21) This verse mentions that believers in Paradise will be joined by their descendants who followed them in faith. This implies that families will be reunited in Paradise, and there will be a sense of companionship and friendship between them.

"Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds - they will have the Gardens of Paradise as a lodging, wherein they abide eternally. They will not desire from it any transfer. Say, 'If the sea were ink for [writing] the words of my Lord, the sea would be exhausted before the words of my Lord were exhausted, even if We brought the like of it as a supplement.'" (18:107-109) This verse describes how the believers in Paradise will abide there eternally, and will not desire to leave. This implies that they will have formed strong bonds of companionship and friendship with one another, and will enjoy being together in Paradise forever.

"And those who believed and did righteous deeds will be admitted to gardens beneath which rivers flow, abiding eternally therein by permission of their Lord; and their greeting therein will be, 'Peace!'" (14:23) This verse mentions that the greeting of the believers in Paradise will be "Peace!", which implies a friendly and peaceful environment. The fact that they will be abiding eternally in gardens beneath which rivers flow also emphasizes the enjoyable and blissful nature of their companionship and friendship.

Overall, these verses highlight that the believers who do righteous deeds will be joined together with their descendants in Paradise. They will have companionship and will exchange cups of wine with one another, wherein no ill speech or sin will result. However, those who disbelieve and deny the verses of Allah will be brought to punishment, emphasizing the importance of belief and good deeds in attaining the reward of Paradise.
