The Battle of Banu Mustaliq took place in the year 627 AD (5 AH). This Battle was a battle that took place during the time of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) in which the Muslims fought against a tribe called Banu Mustaliq.
The Banu Mustaliq tribe had attacked a group of Muslims who were traveling back from a peaceful mission to a nearby town. The Muslims were unarmed and many were captured by the tribe. This was a serious offense and the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) decided to take action against the Banu Mustaliq tribe.
The Muslims prepared for battle and set out to confront the Banu Mustaliq tribe. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) instructed his army to fight fairly and not harm any non-combatants, such as women, children, and the elderly.
When the two armies met, a battle ensued. The Muslims fought bravely and were able to defeat the Banu Mustaliq tribe. Many of the Banu Mustaliq were captured and taken as prisoners of war.
After the battle, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) ordered that the prisoners be treated with kindness and respect. He also instructed that the prisoners who were able to teach the Muslims how to read and write should be released in exchange for teaching them.
Overall, the Battle of Banu Mustaliq was an important event in the history of Islam. It showed the importance of fighting for what is right and just, while also showing the importance of treating prisoners of war with kindness and respect.
