Surah Al-Anbiya (Chapter 21), Verse 72-73: In these verses, Allah mentions that He blessed Prophet Ibrahim and his wife Sarah with their son Ishaq, who was a Prophet and one of the righteous.
Surah Al-Saffat (Chapter 37), Verse 112-113: In these verses, Allah mentions that He blessed Prophet Ibrahim and his wife Sarah with their son Ishaq, who was a Prophet and one of the righteous. Allah also mentions that He blessed Prophet Ya'qub with Prophethood, and that both Prophet Ishaq and Prophet Ya'qub were among the righteous.
Surah Al-Nisa (Chapter 4), Verse 163: In this verse, Allah mentions that He revealed the same message to all of the Prophets, including Prophet Ishaq, as He did to Prophet Ibrahim. The verse states: "Verily, We have revealed to you (O Muhammad) as We revealed to Nuh (Noah) and the Prophets after him; We (also) revealed to Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob), and the twelve sons of Ya'qub, 'Iesa (Jesus), Ayub (Job), Yunus (Jonah), Harun (Aaron), and Sulaiman (Solomon), and to Dawud (David) We gave the Psalms."
Overall, while there are only a few Quranic verses that mention Prophet Ishaq (Isaac), his importance and status as a Prophet in Islam are recognized and emphasized in various Hadiths.
