Sunan an-Nasa'i » The Book of Fasting
It was narrated that 'Imran said:
"It was said: 'O Messenger of
Allah, so and so never broke his fast, even for one day for the rest of
his life.' He said: 'He has neither fasted nor broken his
fast."" 'Ata said: "someone who heard him told me that Ibn 'Umar
(said) that the Prophet said: 'Whoever fasts every day of his life,
then he has not fasted."
أَخْبَرَنَا
عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، عَنِ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ، عَنْ
يَزِيدَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الشِّخِّيرِ، عَنْ أَخِيهِ، مُطَرِّفٍ عَنْ
عِمْرَانَ، قَالَ قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ فُلاَنًا لاَ يُفْطِرُ نَهَارًا
الدَّهْرَ . قَالَ " لاَ صَامَ وَلاَ أَفْطَرَ " .

Sunan an-Nasa'i » The Book of Fasting
It was narrated from 'Ata that he
narrated that someone who heard him said that 'Abdullah bin 'Amr bin AL-As
said:
"The Messenger of Allah said:
'The one who fasts every day of his life has neither
fasted, nor broken the fast."' 'Ata said: "someone who heard him told
me that Ibn 'Umar (said) that the Prophet said: 'Whoever fasts every day of
his life, then he has not fasted."
أَخْبَرَنَا
أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَائِذٍ،
قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنِ الأَوْزَاعِيِّ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، أَنَّهُ حَدَّثَهُ
قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مَنْ، سَمِعَ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ، قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " مَنْ صَامَ الأَبَدَ فَلاَ صَامَ وَلاَ
أَفْطَرَ " .

It was narrated that 'Abdullah said:
"The Messenger of Allah [SAW]
said: 'By the One besides Whom there is no other god, it is not permissible to
shed the blood of a Muslim who bears witness to La ilaha illalla (there is none
worthy of worship except Allah) and that I am the Messenger of Allah, except in
three cases: One who leaves Islam and splits away from the Jama'ah, a person
who has been married and then commits adultery, and a life for
a life.'"
أَخْبَرَنَا
إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ،
عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُرَّةَ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ
اللَّهِ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " وَالَّذِي لاَ إِلَهَ غَيْرُهُ لاَ
يَحِلُّ دَمُ امْرِئٍ مُسْلِمٍ يَشْهَدُ أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَأَنِّي
رَسُولُ اللَّهِ إِلاَّ ثَلاَثَةُ نَفَرٍ التَّارِكُ لِلإِسْلاَمِ مُفَارِقُ
الْجَمَاعَةِ وَالثَّيِّبُ الزَّانِي وَالنَّفْسُ بِالنَّفْسِ " . قَالَ
الأَعْمَشُ فَحَدَّثْتُ بِهِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ فَحَدَّثَنِي عَنِ الأَسْوَدِ عَنْ
عَائِشَةَ بِمِثْلِهِ .

Sunan an-Nasa'i » The Book of Jihad
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah
that the Prophet (PBUH) said:
"Were it not that it would be
too difficult for my Ummah, I would not have stayed behind from any expedition.
But they could not find mounts, and I could not find any mounts for them, and
it would be too hard for them to stay behind when I went out. And I wish that I
could be killed in the cause of Allah, then brought back to life,
then killed, then brought back to life, then killed,"
three times.
أَخْبَرَنَا
عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ
سَعِيدٍ الْقَطَّانَ - عَنْ يَحْيَى، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَعِيدٍ الأَنْصَارِيَّ -
قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي ذَكْوَانُ أَبُو صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ
النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " لَوْلاَ أَنْ أَشُقَّ عَلَى أُمَّتِي
لَمْ أَتَخَلَّفْ عَنْ سَرِيَّةٍ وَلَكِنْ لاَ يَجِدُونَ حَمُولَةً وَلاَ أَجِدُ
مَا أَحْمِلُهُمْ عَلَيْهِ وَيَشُقُّ عَلَيْهِمْ أَنْ يَتَخَلَّفُوا عَنِّي
وَلَوَدِدْتُ أَنِّي قُتِلْتُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ثُمَّ أُحْيِيتُ ثُمَّ قُتِلْتُ
ثُمَّ أُحْيِيتُ ثُمَّ قُتِلْتُ " . ثَلاَثًا .

Sunan Abi Dawud » Wages (Kitab Al-Ijarah)
Narrated Jabir ibn Abdullah:
The Messenger of Allah (saws)
decided a case of a woman from the Ansar to whom an orchard of date-palms was
given by her son. She then died. Her son said: I gave it to her for her life,
and she has brothers. Thereupon the Messenger of Allah (saws) said: It belongs
to her during her life and after death. He then said: I
gave a sadaqah (charity to her. He replied: It is more unexpected from you.
حَدَّثَنَا
عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، حَدَّثَنَا
سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ حَبِيبٍ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ - عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ
الأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ طَارِقٍ الْمَكِّيِّ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ
قَضَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي امْرَأَةٍ مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ
أَعْطَاهَا ابْنُهَا حَدِيقَةً مِنْ نَخْلٍ فَمَاتَتْ فَقَالَ ابْنُهَا إِنَّمَا
أَعْطَيْتُهَا حَيَاتَهَا . وَلَهُ إِخْوَةٌ . فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى
الله عليه وسلم " هِيَ لَهَا حَيَاتَهَا وَمَوْتَهَا " . قَالَ
كُنْتُ تَصَدَّقْتُ بِهَا عَلَيْهَا . قَالَ " ذَلِكَ أَبْعَدُ لَكَ
" .
