In Islam, it is believed that there are seven heavens or levels of the universe. Each heaven has its own characteristics and is believed to be more beautiful and glorious than the one below it. Here is a list of some of the characteristics of each heaven in Islam:

According to Islamic belief, there are seven heavens or levels of the universe, each with its unique characteristics and inhabitants. These heavens are:

7) Al-Firdaus

6) Ad-Dar Al-Maqamah

5) Ad-Dar As-Salam

4) Ad-Dar Al-Jalal

3) Ad-Dar Al-Khuld

2) Ad-Dar Al-Mawa

1) Ad-Dar Al-Maqam Al-Mahmud

Jannatul Naim:

Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) prayed for Jannatul Naim. However, "Al-Naim" or "Al-Na'im" is not typically considered one of the seven heavens in Islamic theology. It is a term used in the Quran to describe Paradise as a whole, which encompasses all levels of the afterlife, including the seven heavens. The term "Na'im" means "bliss" or "pleasure," and it is used in the Quran to describe the eternal reward that awaits the righteous believers in Paradise.

It is important to note that these names and characteristics of the seven heavens are not explicitly mentioned in the Quran but are derived from various Islamic traditions and interpretations of the Quranic verses.

In Islam, it is believed that there are seven heavens or levels of the universe. Each heaven has its own characteristics and is believed to be more beautiful and glorious than the one below it.

Here is a list of some of the characteristics of each heaven in Islam:

  1. First Heaven: This heaven is believed to be made of silver and is the closest to the earth. It is also called the "Sky" and is the place where the stars are located.
  2. Second Heaven: This heaven is believed to be made of gold and is where the angels live. It is also known as the "Raqiya" and is the place where the sun and the moon are located.
  3. Third Heaven: This heaven is believed to be made of pearls and is where the prophets and messengers reside. It is also known as the "Bayt al-Mamur," which is a replica of the Kaaba.
  4. Fourth Heaven: This heaven is believed to be made of emerald and is where the angels of revelation and the guardians of the souls of the believers reside.
  5. Fifth Heaven: This heaven is believed to be made of rubies and is where the angels of mercy and the keeper of the treasures of paradise reside.
  6. Sixth Heaven: This heaven is believed to be made of garnet and is where the angels of victory reside. It is also where the angels of the night and day reside.
  7. Seventh Heaven: This heaven is believed to be made of pure light and is where God's throne is located. It is also where the angels of intercession and the highest angels reside.

According to the Quran:

There are many verses in the Quran that mention Paradise or Jannah and describe it as a place of eternal bliss and happiness. Here are a few examples:

"And give good tidings to those who believe and do righteous deeds that they will have gardens [in Paradise] beneath which rivers flow. Whenever they are provided with a provision of fruit therefrom, they will say, 'This is what we were provided with before.' And it is given to them in likeness. And they will have therein purified spouses, and they will abide therein eternally." (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:25)

"Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds - they will have the Gardens of Paradise as a lodging, wherein they abide eternally. They will not desire from it any transfer." (Surah Al-Kahf 18:107-108)

"Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds will have gardens beneath which rivers flow. That is the great attainment." (Surah Al-Buruj 85:11)

"And for them therein is whatever they wish - [while] abiding eternally. It is ever upon your Lord a promise [worthy to be] requested." (Surah Fussilat 41:31)

"But those who believe and do righteous deeds - We will admit them to gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide forever. For them therein are purified spouses, and We will admit them to deepening shade." (Surah An-Nisa 4:57)

These verses, and many others like them, describe Paradise as a place of eternal happiness and bliss for the believers who have faith and do good deeds in this life.
