Ayat al-Kursi (Quran 2:255) - Benefits

Ayatul Kursi is a Quranic verse from Surah Al-Baqarah (Chapter 2, Verse 255) that is considered one of the most powerful verses in the Quran. It is recited by Muslims as a form of protection and to seek Allah's blessings.

The verse reads as follows:

"Allah - there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of [all] existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is [presently] before them and what will be after them, and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills. His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not. And He is the Most High, the Most Great."

Reciting Ayatul Kursi is believed to have numerous benefits, including protection from evil and harm, warding off the devil, and gaining Allah's blessings and mercy. Many Muslims recite it after every prayer, and some even recite it before going to sleep at night for protection.
