The criteria for entering Paradise - in the Quran

According to the Quran, entering Paradise is based on a person's faith and righteous deeds. The criteria for entering Paradise in the Quran are belief in the oneness of Allah, good deeds, repentance and forgiveness, and faithful adherence to Islam. These criteria are interrelated and interconnected, and they reflect the core values and principles of Islam. The Quran states, "Say, 'He is Allah, [who is] One, Allah, the Eternal Refuge. He neither begets nor is born, nor is there to Him any equivalent'" (Quran 112:1-4).
• Good deeds: In addition to faith, good deeds are also essential for entering Paradise. The Quran mentions several good deeds that can lead to Paradise, including prayer, giving charity, being kind to parents, treating others with justice and compassion, and fulfilling one's obligations to Allah and to fellow human beings. These deeds are believed to earn rewards and blessings from Allah, which can lead to a person's admission to Paradise. The Quran states, "But whoever comes to Him as a believer having done righteous deeds - for those will be the highest degrees [in position]" (Quran 20:75).
• Repentance and forgiveness: The Quran teaches that all human beings are prone to sin and mistakes, and that seeking forgiveness from Allah is essential for attaining Paradise. Allah is merciful and forgiving, and He accepts the repentance of those who turn to Him with sincerity and remorse. The Quran states, "O you who have believed, repent to Allah with sincere repentance. Perhaps your Lord will remove from you your misdeeds and admit you into gardens beneath which rivers flow [on] the Day when Allah will not disgrace the Prophet and those who believed with him. Their light will proceed before them and on their right" (Quran 66:8).
• Faithful adherence to Islam: The Quran emphasizes the importance of following the teachings of Islam and living a life of righteousness and submission to Allah. This includes practicing the Five Pillars of Islam, which are the declaration of faith (Shahada), prayer (Salah), giving charity (Zakat), fasting during Ramadan (Sawm), and performing the pilgrimage to Mecca (Hajj) at least once in a lifetime if one is able. Muslims are also encouraged to follow the Prophet Muhammad's example in their daily lives and to seek knowledge, wisdom, and understanding of the Quran and the Sunnah (the Prophet's sayings and actions). The Quran states, "And whoever submits his face to Allah while he is a doer of good - then he has grasped the most trustworthy handhold. And to Allah will be the outcome of [all] matters" (Quran 31:22).

It's worth noting that the criteria for entering Paradise are not limited to these points and may vary depending on a person's circumstances and actions. Ultimately, it is Allah who decides who will enter Paradise, and seeking His forgiveness and guidance is the best way to increase one's chances of attaining eternal bliss.
