Pardon other religions who misrepresent the Qur'an

In the Quran, there are teachings that encourage Muslims to engage with people of other religions with kindness and compassion. The Quran also stresses the importance of forgiveness and pardoning others, even if they misrepresent the Quran or hold different beliefs. For example, Quran 45:14 states, "Tell those who believe to forgive those who do not look forward to the days of Allah: It is for Him to recompense (for good or ill) each People according to what they have earned." Furthermore, Quran 41:34 encourages Muslims to "repel evil with what is better" and to "forgive and overlook" in their interactions with others. Thus, it can be understood that Muslims should show kindness and forgiveness towards those of other religions, even if they misrepresent the Quran or hold different beliefs.

The Quran encourages Muslims to show patience and tolerance towards those who misrepresent or misunderstand the teachings of the Quran. Muslims are advised to respond to such situations with patience and forgiveness, rather than with anger or hostility. This approach is based on the belief that it is ultimately up to Allah to judge people's beliefs and actions, and that it is not the role of humans to take revenge or punish others for their ignorance or mistakes. By showing kindness and compassion, Muslims can demonstrate the true spirit of Islam and perhaps even help others to better understand the Quran's teachings.

Quran 5:13:

The verse is from Surah al-Ma'idah, or the Chapter of the Table Spread, verse 13:

"From those who call themselves Christians, We took a covenant, but they have neglected a portion of what they were reminded of. Therefore, We have stirred up enmity and hatred among them till the Day of Resurrection, and Allah will inform them of what they used to do." 

This verse is talking about a covenant that Allah made with the Christians. It is not entirely clear what this covenant refers to, but some scholars suggest that it may be referring to a promise made by the Christians to follow the teachings of Jesus, which includes belief in one God and doing good deeds.

The verse goes on to say that the Christians neglected a portion of what they were reminded of, which could mean that they failed to follow some of the teachings of Jesus. As a result, Allah allowed enmity and hatred to arise among them, which will continue until the Day of Resurrection.

This verse is not encouraging Muslims to hold a grudge against Christians, but rather it is reminding them of the importance of fulfilling their obligations and following the teachings of their faith. It also serves as a warning to all believers to stay true to their covenant with Allah, and to be mindful of the consequences of neglecting their duties.
