Do they not consider the Qur'an (with care)? (Quran 4:82)

"Do they not consider the Qur'an (with care)? Had it been from other Than Allah, they would surely have found therein much discrepancy." (Quran 4:82)

The verse emphasizes the perfection and authenticity of the Quran. It challenges the disbelievers to scrutinize the Quran carefully and find any inconsistency or contradiction in its teachings. The Quran is a book that presents a coherent and consistent message, which is a proof of its divine origin.

The verse also implies that the Quran is the word of Allah and not the creation of the Prophet Muhammad or anyone else. If it were a human product, it would inevitably contain errors and contradictions, as human beings are prone to making mistakes. However, the Quran is free from any flaws, which is a clear sign of its divine origin.

Moreover, the verse implies that the disbelievers who reject the Quran without giving it a fair consideration are unjust and foolish. They are denying the truth out of stubbornness and ignorance, rather than based on rational grounds.

In this verse, Allah challenges those who deny the Qur'an to consider its contents carefully. He asserts that if the Qur'an was from anyone other than Allah, it would contain many discrepancies that would be easily recognizable. This verse is highlighting the miraculous nature of the Qur'an, which has been preserved in its original form for over 1400 years without any changes or contradictions.

Furthermore, this verse is also a challenge to those who claim that the Qur'an is not from Allah, to bring forth evidence to support their claim. The Qur'an is a revelation from Allah, and its contents have been preserved perfectly, without any discrepancies or contradictions. It is an incontrovertible proof of the truth of Islam, and those who deny it are rejecting a clear sign from Allah.

Overall, this verse emphasizes the importance of careful examination and contemplation of the Qur'an, as it is a divine revelation from Allah, and contains a wealth of guidance and wisdom for humanity.

In conclusion, the verse is an invitation to all people to study the Quran carefully and objectively, and to recognize its unique status as the word of Allah. It also warns the disbelievers of the consequences of rejecting the truth and turning away from Allah's guidance.
