Sahih Muslim » The Book of Prayer - Travellers 

'A'isha reported that when the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) missed the night prayer due to pain or any other reason, he observed twelve rak'ahs during the daytime.

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، وَقُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، جَمِيعًا عَنْ أَبِي عَوَانَةَ، قَالَ سَعِيدٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ زُرَارَةَ بْنِ أَوْفَى، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ إِذَا فَاتَتْهُ الصَّلاَةُ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ مِنْ وَجَعٍ أَوْ غَيْرِهِ صَلَّى مِنَ النَّهَارِ ثِنْتَىْ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً ‏.‏

Muwatta Malik » The Evil Eye 

Yahya related to me from Malik that Yahya ibn Said said, "I heard that Sad ibn Zurara cauterized himself because of a pain in the throat accompanied by blood and he died."

وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ بَلَغَنِي أَنَّ سَعْدَ بْنَ زُرَارَةَ، اكْتَوَى فِي زَمَانِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم مِنَ الذُّبَحَةِ فَمَاتَ ‏.‏

Riyad as-Salihin » The Book of Jihad 

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:

The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "The martyr experiences no more pain in being slain than one of you experiences from the stinging of an ant."[At-Tirmidhi].

- وعن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه قال‏:‏ قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏:‏ ‏ "‏ما يجد الشهيد من مس القتل إلا كما يجد أحدكم من مس القرصة‏"‏ ‏(‏‏(‏رواه الترمذي وقال‏:‏ حديث حسن صحيح‏)‏‏)‏‏.

Sunan an-Nasa'i » The Book of Jihad 

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said:

"The martyr does not feel the pain of being killed, except as any one of you feels a pinch."

أَخْبَرَنَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَاتِمُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَجْلاَنَ، عَنِ الْقَعْقَاعِ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏ "‏ الشَّهِيدُ لاَ يَجِدُ مَسَّ الْقَتْلِ إِلاَّ كَمَا يَجِدُ أَحَدُكُمُ الْقَرْصَةَ يُقْرَصُهَا ‏"‏ ‏.‏

Sunan Abi Dawud » The Rites of Hajj (Kitab Al-Manasik Wa'l-Hajj) 

A man from the Ansar said on the authority of Ka'b ibn Ujrah that he was feeling pain in his head (due to lice); so he shaved his head. The Prophet (saws) ordered him to sacrifice a cow as offering.

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، أَنَّ رَجُلاً، مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ عُجْرَةَ، - وَكَانَ قَدْ أَصَابَهُ فِي رَأْسِهِ أَذًى فَحَلَقَ فَأَمَرَهُ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنْ يُهْدِيَ هَدْيًا بَقَرَةً ‏.‏

1 ) Verse from Quran: 

 And when you have divorced women, and they have reached their term, either retain them amicably or release them amicably. But do not retain them to hurt them and commit aggression. Whoever does that has wronged himself. And do not take Allah’s revelations for a joke. And remember Allah's blessing upon you, and that He revealed to you the Scripture and Wisdom, to teach you. And be cautious of Allah, and know that Allah knows everything.

 O you who believe! Do not nullify your charity with reminders and hurtful words, like him who spends his wealth to be seen by the people, and does not believe in Allah and the Last Day. His example is like a smooth rock covered with soil: a downpour strikes it, and leaves it barren—they gain nothing from their efforts. Allah does not guide the disbelieving people.

 It is they who disbelieved, and barred you from the Sacred Mosque, and prevented the offering from reaching its destination. Were it not for believing men and believing women, whom you did not know, you were about to hurt them, and become guilty unintentionally. Thus Allah admits into His mercy whom He wills. Had they dispersed, We would have punished those who disbelieved among them with a painful punishment.
