Musnad Ahmad » Musnad 'Ali Ibn Abi Talib

It was narrated that ‘Ali (رضي الله عنه) said:

When the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) recited ruqyah for a sick person, said: “Remove the hardship and suffering. Lord of mankind, and grant healing, for You are the Healer and there is no healing except Your healing; (grant) healing which does not leave any sickness behind.`

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ، مَوْلَى بَنِي هَاشِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا عَوَّذَ مَرِيضًا قَالَ أَذْهِبْ الْبَاسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ اشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي لَا شِفَاءَ إِلَّا شِفَاؤُكَ شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا‏.‏

  • Grade: Sahih because of corroborating evidence; this is a Da'if (weak) isnad because of the weakness of Al-Harith Al-A'war] (Darussalam)

Sunan an-Nasa'i » The Book of Fasting

It was narrated from Anas that the Prophet said:

"Allah has waived meaning half of the prayer and fasting for the traveler, and from pregnant women and the sick. "(Hanas)

أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ التَّلِّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي قَالَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلاَبَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏ "‏ إِنَّ اللَّهَ وَضَعَ عَنِ الْمُسَافِرِ نِصْفَ الصَّلاَةِ وَالصَّوْمَ وَعَنِ الْحُبْلَى وَالْمُرْضِعِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏

Sunan Abi Dawud » Model Behavior of the Prophet (Kitab Al-Sunnah)

Narrated Abdullah ibn Umar:

The Prophet (saws) said: The Qadariyyah are the Magians of this community. If they are ill, do not pay a sick visit to them, and if they die, do not attend their funerals.

حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي بِمِنًى، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏ "‏ الْقَدَرِيَّةُ مَجُوسُ هَذِهِ الأُمَّةِ إِنْ مَرِضُوا فَلاَ تَعُودُوهُمْ وَإِنْ مَاتُوا فَلاَ تَشْهَدُوهُمْ ‏"‏ ‏.‏

Sunan Ibn Majah » Fasting

It was narrated that Anas bin Malik said:

“The Messenger of Allah (saw) said: ‘The person observing I’tikaf may attend funerals and visit the sick.’”

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ أَبُو بَكْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْهَيَّاجُ الْخُرَاسَانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَنْبَسَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْخَالِقِ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ ‏ "‏ الْمُعْتَكِفُ يَتْبَعُ الْجِنَازَةَ وَيَعُودُ الْمَرِيضَ ‏"‏ ‏.‏

“Ubayy bin Ka’b fell sick, and the Prophet (saw) sent a doctor to him who cauterized him on his medical arm vein.”

حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ رَافِعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الطَّنَافِسِيُّ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ مَرِضَ أُبَىُّ بْنُ كَعْبٍ مَرَضًا فَأَرْسَلَ إِلَيْهِ النَّبِيُّ طَبِيبًا فَكَوَاهُ عَلَى أَكْحَلِهِ ‏.‏

And none knows the soldiers of your Lord except He. And it is but a reminder to the humans.
